Here is another bag pattern designed by Sara Lawson from from Sewsweetness

The pattern is versatile for storing any items, just altering the inter slot size arrangement for your items.  It only take me half day to complete the whole case.  Good if you like to finish a quick project.

I used for storing knitting circular needles, I made the medium size.  Instead of using elastic I used fabric for the slot.

The storage area on the other side is good for putting any knitting items.
